Banff, Alberta

In September of 2022 I got married (!!!) and in May 2023 Austin and I went on our honeymoon to Banff, Alberta! We were gone a little over a week, travelling all over Banff and even making a trip out to Golden, BC! Every day we would hike for 4+ hours and then eat…everything.

On our trip, Austin turned to me and said “This must be so weird for you, taking photos but no one is in front of your camera.”. Well, nature and wildlife photography is how I got into photography in the first place! I would spend hours alone in my grandparent’s garden photographing everything from plants to bugs to my own rubber boots! It gave me space to really understand manual mode and composition. Plus, I love “alone time” aha!
